Synopsis:
Ultimate Fighter, Donner ‘Bone’ Mason is a sensation on the rise. His next fight could be the one to propel him to the championship. Little does he know, the fight is a ‘set up’. The opposing fighter’s coach, Decker, is Bone’s former Army Sergeant. Decker has rigged his fighter to die in the midst of the fight by giving him a drug that mimics death. His plan is to blackmail Bone and coerce him to fight for Decker, owning him “hook, line and sinker.”
Bone confides in his best friend, “Alex”, a woman he knew from his Army Special Ops days, now turned bounty hunter. Bone tells her that he has to fight for the hated Sergeant Decker or go to jail for murder.
Bone decides to fight for Decker and plans to throw the fight. At the last moment, his conscience won’t let him. This was not what Decker had planned. That night, Bone is attacked at his home, where they drug him and his daughter, kidnapping them both. Now Bone has no other choice but to fight for Decker to get his daughter back.
When the police are of no help, Bone’s wife enlists the aid of Alex to find her daughter and husband. But nothing ever goes according to plan, and an injured and tortured Alex tracks Bone to the captive’s hideout. Bone has been forced to fight for international gamblers betting thousands of dollars on the rigged outcome. He tried to escape to save his daughter, but was caught and beat up.
Alex plants a bomb in the back of the building and is about to save Bone, when all hell breaks loose.
“BAD TO THE BONE” is a taut thriller filled with action, MMA style fighting and an ending that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
